Once again, we thank you for choosing us as your builder. YOU are the reason we go to work everyday and YOU are the ones who are paying our salaries.

Here are a few tips that will help you during the construction process and help us serve you better.

  • Communication: When it comes to investing your life savings, there is no such thing as an unimportant question. Email us your questions and make sure you are completely satisfied with the answers you receive. Ask us, then ask us again, if necessary. Surprises are sometimes costly and we believe that the best way to minimize surprises is "communication".

Email any member of our team. For questions relating to:

    Interior and exterior design email:
    mikeaskari@fortunehomes.net

    Permitting and special services email:
    alcoke@fortunehomes.net

Construction, site clearing, changes to plans and specifications, and job scheduling email:
    marke@fortunehomes.net

Contract, selections, upgrade and costs, accounting, and closing issues email:
    kathylee@fortunehomes.net

Change orders and warranty work email:
    fafa@fortunehomes.net

  • Study your time lines, tips and recommendations. We have spent many hours preparing a comprehensive overview of the construction process and pointing out the selections you will be making. Please refer to the material often. This will make the selection process easier for you and help your project move forward in a timely manner.

  • Keep your floor plan, contract and specifications with you at all times. You will want this information whenever you are making selections and shopping for items for your home.

  • Be aware of your allowances when meeting with suppliers. Make sure you review and sign each selection order and get a copy for your records. Have the supplier fax a copy to our office right away (668-6181).

  • Progress on your home: Once or twice a month we will take digital pictures of your home during construction. We recommend that you save these pictures for your records and, of course, you can email them to friends and family so they can watch your new home being built!
