systems are completely automatic. The system monitors the
incoming electricity and, when power is lost, starts automatically
to restore power, usually within about 20 seconds.
As a resident
of Tallahassee for the last 9 years, I had become accustomed
to summer evening power failures. However, the hurricanes
of 2004 prompted me to find a solution to the problem. As
beautiful as our canopy roads are, they can present a real
problem to the electric utility providers. Summer storms often
blow down trees or branches which fall on power lines and
interrupt service. Not infrequently, electricity can be lost
for hours at a time, leaving your family uncomfortable and
potentially unsafe.

generator during the construction phase of your home. Compared
to post-construction installation, this can reduce costs by
utilizing subcontractors and permits already in place. An
additional benefit to you is that the installation will have
a custom look with components selected to compliment other
features of your home.

semi-annual service checks and inspections eliminate the need
